In 1947, painter and printmaker Steve Wheeler published a book of his silkscreen prints titled "Hello Steve." The book, which includes 13 prints and a frontispiece, reflects his unique blending of Cubist, Surrealist, and Native American motifs, as well as examples of his fantastic and cryptic typograhy. It includes an illuminating essay written by the artist under the pseudonym Adam Gates.
